I currently proofread from Word or .pdf files, and on paper. Texts handled have included physics textbooks, medical and technical journal articles, medical instrumentation manuals, theses, job applications, business letters and website pages.
I was trained in copy-editing in-house at the IEE and I have acquired a certificate (pass with merit) in basic proofreading from the Publishing Training Centre.
